Oprela for Service and Refurbishment Centers
From device intake to selling refurbished goods or spare parts: diagnostics, repair, teardown, condition assessment, certified data wiping, and spare parts inventory all in one system.
A service center business involves thousands of small events: a device is received, photographed, diagnosed, awaiting parts, repaired, returned to the customer, or listed for sale. Each such event is either recorded in the system or turns into the question, "Where is that laptop?"
Oprela grew out of a real laptop refurbishment business, so it covers the service scenario from start to finish.
The Full Device Journey
1. Intake. The device is registered by scanning a label or serial number, with photos and, if necessary, video recording of its condition in front of the customer. The customer receives a link to track the repair progress themselves.
2. Diagnostics and Repair. The repair queue shows what's in progress, what's awaiting customer approval, and what's waiting for parts. The AI Repair Advisor suggests common causes of malfunctions and diagnostic steps.
3. Condition Assessment. Smart Grading helps assess the device's grade from photos, ensuring the selling price is justified rather than arbitrary.
4. Data Wiping. Media wiping is recorded, and the customer or buyer receives a certificate that can be verified online on a separate verification portal.
5. Teardown for Parts. If repair is not cost-effective, the device is disassembled, and each part is added to inventory as a separate item with its origin tracked.
6. Sale. The refurbished device or part gets a product card and is listed on the website, eBay, or Allegro.
A Spare Parts Inventory Where Everything Is Found
Spare parts have a habit of disappearing. In Oprela, each part has a warehouse location, a visual warehouse map, a shelf naming scheme, and a movement history. Part compatibility with models is stored in rules, so finding "what fits this laptop" takes seconds.
Device Buyback
Customers can offer their devices for buyback through a form on your website. The request lands in Oprela, a manager evaluates it and makes an offer, and the accepted device continues its journey through intake and refurbishment.
